Blu’s is a story about a little girl. Who loves the nature.

Introduction

I’m from a place named Payyannur in the state of Kerala (celebrated as the God’s own country), India. I was fortunate enough to have had a serene and joyful childhood in a gracious human circle and to my disposal, a world so amazing and beautiful of many wondrous sights of mother nature around me covered in lush green and small and tall trees surrounded by the music of nature sung by many free wandering birds and insects. Running along the crooked paths and paved ways by the rains and the stream flowing through those paths reaching up to its destined rivers and lakes to finally kiss its banks. Hiding and seeking behind and atop of many humongous trees and its branches which is also the abode for many living creatures. And on one such old fig tree in my village is where I spent most of my childhood days, be it sorrow, happiness, repugnance or fear and whenever I lie under that huge being, it gives me immense peace and calmness. It rejuvenates my mind and soul.

One afternoon as I was lying under this old monumental tree enjoying and admiring its hospitality I started questioning my very existence and what we humans are doing to this irreplaceable world. I went through many thoughts revolving around this huge tree and nature it symbolizes. Suddenly a very horrific and repulsive thought flashed in my mind. What if…? What if one day I wake up to see this wonderful green mother who has fostered me becomes lifeless and everything that was green and nurturing around her turns dark, dead and lifeless? Yes, it is going to happen.. that very nightmare is going to happen soon. Not one, but the very existence of many such illustrious symbols of nature is soon to be gone If I don’t act, if not every one of us acts soon, cannot imagine if we might as well soon be erased from the face of this planet. Because we are not ornamental rather gross and monstrous to the face of the earth.

To play my small part to stop all of this hideous human acts of destroying nature, I am going to create an animated short film with the best of the skills I have been bestowed with. I built my story around the huge green tree and the horrific scene that flashed in my head while lying under it. To create the maximum impact, I will be delivering this entire story from the point of an innocent unadulterated soul of a small girl named Blu.
